Statement of Faith

Senior High Students on the 2017 Bike Trip with No Turning Back Youth Ministries

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). Therefore, we believe all of what it says. Furthermore, the Bible claims that all people have sinned against God and disobeyed him, putting everyone in debt to Him; however, God has provided a remedy for our sins, so we can have Eternal life with Him (Romans 3:23-24). And that remedy is this, that God had sent His Son to the earth to be punished for our sins; to pay our debt. And if we simply believe in His death and resurrection, the atoning of our sins, we are saved and are able to obtain that Eternal life. Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect life, and then traded that perfect life for our imperfect lives by being punished for them once and for all on the cross (Hebrews 9:26-28).

The Bible also teaches that there are three distinct persons to one God; God the Father (Isaiah 45:21), God the Son (Hebrews 1:8), and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7).

We have always noticed that God blesses His Word and so we base every event and activity around the study of it.

Mission Statement

We are determined to help develop a great love and passion for the Word of God in our Senior High students. At this age, high school students are making many important decisions and forming new habits that will dramatically impact the rest of their lives. Therefore, we strongly believe that the Bible contains all the hope and wisdom required to guide them throughout their lives.

In addition to that, the Lord has also evoked in us a dear love for our students. And with that love, we aspire to form dear friendships among the students and leaders throughout the various events and outings such as retreats, worship nights and service projects that we attend. We feel that the Lord has called us as a church to assist the community and help students grow into godly men and women. Our goal is not only to assist and mature them throughout high school, but to also give them practical godly principals to become mature Christian adults.
